TWO NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS BOLIVARITETTIX GUNTHER(ORTHOPTERA,TETRIGOIDEA,METRODORIDAE)FROM YUNNAN,CHINA

This paper reports two new species of the genus Bolivaritettix Gunther from Yunnan,China.The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Shaanxi Normal University,China.Bolivaritettix nigropennis sp.nov.(Figs.1-3)This new species is allied to B.hutiaoxiana Zheng et Ou,2003,but it differs from the latter in:1)antennae inserted one third of anterior margin of eyes;2)in profile,upper margin of pronotum wave-like;3)hind wings surpassing apex of hind process of prontum;4)midfemur as wide as tegmina;5)middle of posterior margin of female subgenital plate with a triangular process.Length of body:♂ 8.8-9.0mm,♀ 11mm.Length of pronotum:♂ 11.7-12.0mm,♀ 13mm.Length of hind femur:♂ 6.0-6.5mm,♀ 7mm.Holotype ♀,Yunnan Maguan(Mabai)(23°N,104.4°E,alt.1100m),30 July 2005,collected by DENG Wei-An.Paratypes:5♂♂,collected by DENG Wei-An and WEI Shi-Zhen,other data same as holotype.Etymology.The species name is derived from the Latin nigro and pennis,meaning wings black.Bolivaritettix daweishanensis sp.nov.(Figs.4-6)This new species is similar to B.interrupta Zheng et Jiang,2002 and Bolivaritettix jiuwanshanensis Zheng,2005,but differs from the latter in:1)antennae inserted one third of anterior margin of eyes;2)lateral keels of prozona parallel;3)in profile,upper margin of pronotum wave-like;4)hind process reaching one third of hind tibia;5)lower margins of fore femur and midfemur wave-like;6)width of midfemur same as tegmina;7)middle of posterior margin of female subgenital plate with a triangular process;8)lower side on out margin of hind femur black.Length of body:♂ 10.5mm,♀ 10.5-11.0mm.Length of pronotum:♂11mm,♀11.0-11.5mm.Length of hind femur:♂ 6 mm,♀ 6.5mm.Holotype ♀,Yunnan Pingbian(Daweishan)(23.1°N,103.8°E,alt.2300m),26 July 2005,collected by DENG Wei-an.Paratypes:1♂,data as same as holotype;1♀,Yunnan Hekou(Nanxi),alt.200m,28 July 2005,collected by DENG Wei-An.Etymology.The species name refers to the type locality.
