Abstract
This paper reports two new species of Bolivaritettix Gunther from Guangxi. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, China. 1. Bolivaritettix nigrifemurus, sp. nov. (Figs.1~2) This new species is allied to Bolivaritettix longzhouensis Zheng et Jiang, 1995 and Bolivaritettix liboensis Zheng, 2003, but it differs from both the latter in:1) antennae inserted one third of anterior margin of eyes; 2) in profile, upper margin of pronotum wave-like; 3) lateral keels of prozona obviously constricted backward; 4) width of midfemur wider than the width of tegmina; 5) outer part lower of hind femur black; 6) hind tibia black, with a light transverse spots in basal and middle part. Length of body:♂8.5~9.0 mm;Length of pronotum:♂11.5~12.0 mm;Length of hind femur:♂8.5~9.0 mm Holotype:♂, Huanjiang (Bajieshan), Guangxi (24.9°N, 108.3°E, alt. 430 m), 08-Ⅶ-2005, collected by DENG Wei-an; Paratype:1♂, same data as holotype. Female:unknown. Etymology. Scientific name is derived from the Latin nigri and femurus , meaning outer part lower side of hind femur black. 2. Bolivaritettix liuwanshanensis, sp. nov. (Figs.3~5) This new species is allied to Bolivaritettix circocephalus Zheng, 1992, but it differs from the latter in:1) antennae inserted one third of anterior margin of eyes; 2) lateral keels of prozona parallel; 3) hind process of pronotum slightly surpassing the top of hind femur; 4) hind wings surpassing behind the top of hind process. Length of body:♂8~8.5 mm, ♀12 mm; Length of pronotum:♂10~10.5 mm, ♀11.5 mm; Length of hind femur:♂6~6.5 mm, ♀7.5 mm Holotype:♀, Pubei (Liuwandashan), Guangxi (22.4°N, 109.6°E, alt. 200 m), 20-Ⅷ-2005, collected by DENG Wei-an; Paratypes:2♂♂, same data as holotype. Etymology. Scientific name is from the type locality Liuwandashan, Guangxi.
