Abstract
In this paper, the theoretical study and experimental analysis for industrial muffler are conducted. The acoustic performance of the expansion muffler is acquired by analysis and experiment. It is found that the sound wave of the muffler is not strictly spread according to the unidimensional plane wave form. The noise attenuation performance of the muffler is improved by mending the muffler.
