Abstract
Objective:To establish the obesity rat animal model with leptin resistance and insulin resistance through high fat diet. Methods:Rats were fed with improved high fat diet for 8 weeks. To observe the indexes:weight,Lees index, fasting blood glucose,insulin,HOMA-IR,leptin,oral glucose tolerance test, insulin release test and compared with control group rats. Results:Besides FBG,the indexes of model group rats were significantly higher than control group rats(P0.05).Conclusions:High saturated fatty acid diet can induce obesity rat with leptin resistance and insulin resistance.
