The discussion and practice of study teaching of civil engineering major

Research teaching method of civil engineering major is presented in this paper, which include two aspects of research 'teaching' and research 'learning'. Firstly , on research 'teaching' aspect, the content of teaching should contain scientific research work, on the other hand, scientific research should encircle teaching, and foster students' ability of self-teaching, bringing forth new ideas and scientific research. Secondly, on research learning aspect, students should have ties with practice, contact thought and research with reading. Moreover, the way of carrying on research teaching is also presented, which should be discussed from two aspects of teaching and scientific research, one point is that students can choose research subject at the teachers' guide. Other point is that these aspects such as preparing lesson before class, research, guide, test should be emphasized.
