Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of electroacupuncture at acupoints of the Foot-Yangming meridian on Gastric motion and motilin (MOT) in rabbits and the correlative law of the Foot-Yangming Meridian and the stomach.Methods:40 rabbits were randomly and evenly divided into Sibai (ST2),Liangmen (ST21),Zusanli (ST36),non-acupoint and non-meridian and model groups.Gastric mucosal injury model was induced by intragastric infusion of dehydrated alcohol (2.35ml/kg).The gastic motion and the content of motilin in each group were detected.Results:Before Gastric mucosal injury model,the amplitude index of gastric motion in Sibai and Zusanli groups were increased significantly (P0.01) by electroacupuncture.After Gastric mucosal injury model,amplitude index of gastric motion in Sibai group was increased significantly (P0.01) by electroacupuncture.Conclusion:There findings suggest that the amplitude index of gastric motion was increased by electroacupuncture at acupoints of the Foot-Yangming meridian and there is correlativity between the Foot-Yangming Meridian and the stomach.
