Abstract

Objective To explore the transformation in pathology and MRI of partial dysplasia of corpus callosum, and compare with that in MRI of complete dysplasia of corpus callosum. Materials and Methods To analyse the transformation in MRI of partial dysplasia of corpus callosum in 20 cases; and compare with that in MRI of complete dysplasia of corpus callosum in 8 cases which did MRI scanning at the same time. Results In 20 cases of partial dysplasia of corpus callosum, 7 cases show the absent in anterior part, which 1 cases of that showing the forming of conglomeration of abnormalities in white matter,12 cases show the absent in posterior part,1 case shows the absent of rostrum corporis callosi and splenium corporis callosi. 4 cases incorporate the adipoma approaching the posterior part of corpus callosum.2 cases incorporate gray matter heterotopia, and also 2 cases incorporate abnormalities of schizencephaly, 1 cases incorporate local encephalomalacia in posterior part of right thalamencephalon. Conclusion The transformation in MRI of partial dysplasia of corpus callosum isn't singularly. MRI scans can show the conformation of dysplasia of corpus callosum and Amalgamate abnormalities completely, special to display unevident abnormalities.
