Enlightenments of Foreign Experiences for New Rural Construction in Western China

To build a new socialist countryside is the target of three issues in agriculturesin the future,which is a challenge in the development of Western China.Based on a good deal of foreign successful experiences in rural re-construction,this paper cones up with some perfect conclusion.According to the current situation in Western rural areas,the author gives some helpful enlightenments and suggestions about how to construct new rural areas of socialism in Western China.Five points are especially emphasized in the following:1) advocating and promoting the new rural construction by the government and with macro-assurance of policy;2)embarking from the overall situation,planning the economic and social development between urban and rural areas as a whole to horten the binary gap between the urban and rural areas;3)paying attention to the infrastructure construction so as to break the bottleneck of the new rural construction;4)protecting the farmland strictly by perfecting the land circulation measurment and developing the fairly large-scal managements;5)cultivating the peasants to turn the traditional peasants into modern farm workers.
