Meaning of the Confucian Classics and Historical Change

Abstract
Different views on the six books of Confucian Classics are historyof Zhang Xuecheng in academic fields.According to history,we think that Zhang's views of Confucian classics connect with his historical change.Firstly,he integrated Confucian classics with history and discusses their concordance in meaning.Secondly,he quoted the CHUNQIU to expound the historical meaning,quoted the ZHOUYI to expound historical change and studied the historical thoughts of ZHOULI and SHANGSHU.Thirdly,he suggested modeling the historical compilation of SHANGSHU,breaking the bookish situation in compilation and creating the new integrated types of historiography.
