Jianpi Xiaoji decoction combined with western medicine on life quality in patients of primary hepatoma advanced stage

Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of Jianpi Xiaoji decoction combined with western medicine on life quality in patients of primary hepatoma advanced stage.Methods:To observe the changes of Karnofksy score,the body weight,the appetite,the sleep to improve,easement of pain and the liver function.Sixty patients with primary hepatoma were treated with either Jianpi Xiaoji decoction combined with western medicine(TCM-WM group) or western medicine(WM group) alone.Results:Sixty effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were respectively 6.7% and 3.3%(P0.05);The stable rates of the treatment group and the control group were respectively 63.3% and 36.7%(P0.05);The total survival rates of six momoths,one year were respectively 60.0%,30.0% and 43.3%,13.3%(P0.05).The control rate of pain of the treatment group and the control group were respectively 65.4% and 37.5%(P0.05).The amelioration of ALT,AST,TBil of the treatment group better than the control group.Conclusion:Jianpi Xiaoji decoction can improve clinical symptoms,increase the Karnofksy score,the body weight,the control rate of pain,life quality and prolongate survival time for patients with primary hepatoma advanced stage.
