Abstract
Canonical correlation analysis was done on the relations between the soil physiochemical characteristics and the contents of chemical compositions in fl ue-cured tobacco leaf. The results showed that within a certain range, the content of soil available magnesium was highly negatively correlated with the contents of potassium, and the content of soil available potassium was highly positively correlated with the contents of potassium, total sugar and chlorine in upper and middle flue-cured tobacco leaves; the soil pH value was highly negatively correlated with the contents of potassium, total sugar and chlorine in middle fl ue-cured tobacco leaves.
