Abstract
Objective:to observe the effect of Xiezhuo Jiedu Fang on IL-4 and IL-6 in serum of rates with UC so as to explore the functional mechanism in treatment of UC with modern medicine.Methods:Rat models with UC induced by combining TNBS and Alcohol were divided into blank group,model group,Sulfasalazine group,low dosage of Xiezhuo Jiedu Fang group and high dosage group.Radio-immunity method was taken to detect IL-4 and IL-6 in serum of rates with UC.Results:Xiezhuo Jiedu Fang could decrease IL-6 content,increase IL-4.Conclusion:Xiezhuo Jiedu Fang is effective in treating UC rats whose mechanism may be related to increasing IL-4,strengthening its action of inhibiting inflammation,decreasing IL-6 and weakening inflammatory reaction.
