Abstract

Objective To study the variation of platelet activation and fibrinolytic states in coronary heart disease(CHD) patients. Methods The concentration of von Willebrand factor(vWF), platelet α-granule membrane protein 140(GMP-140), tissue-type plasminogen activator(t-PA), plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI), D-Dimer and fibrinogen(FIB) in plasma were determined in 102 patients with stable angina(SA), unstable angina(UA) or acute myocardial infarction(AMI) and 30 normal controls. Results The concentration of t-PA in CHD patients were lower than patients in control, others in CHD patients were higher than patients in control. The plasma level of vWF, t-PA, PAI, D-Dimer and FIB have significant difference between patients with UA and SA(P 0.05), except for GMP-140(P 0.05). And the level of vWF, t-PA, PAI and FIB showed significant difference in patients with AMI as compared with UA(P 0.05), except for GMP-140 and D-Dimer(P 0.05). Conclusion In the patients with CHD, the vascular endothelial cells were injured and the activity of platelet was increased and the fibrinolytic activities were decreased. The abnormality of these levels are correlated with severity of CHD(AMIUASA).
