Abstract
Objective To study the expression of heat shock protein27(HSP27) in primary lung cancer. Method Immunohistochemistry method was used to measure the expression of HSP27 in 40 cases of lung cancer and 23 cases of tissue near cancer or the benign disease of lung. Results The positive expression of HSP27 in canaer was 95%(38/40); the expression of HSP27 was higher in lung cancer(P0.05).The HSP27 were found in tissues near cancer and lung bubble epithelial and interstice of benign lung diseases.There was no significant difference between expression of HSP27 and the node metastasis. Conclusion There are close relations between the strong or weak expression of HSP27 and the histology and differentiation of lung cancer. The HSP27 in lung cancer can determine the degree of differentiation, and provide an important reference index to determining the prognosis and effect of treatment or to drafting the treatment method of lung cancer.
