Abstract

A high-performance liquid chromatographic(HPLC) method had been developed to determine (lasalocid) sodium residues in chicken liver. Lasalocid sodium was extracted from tissues by methanol, purified by silica gel cartridge, separated by HPLC on an ODS column and measured by fluorescence detector with the mobile phase (including) phosphate buffer, acetonitrile and methanol. The average recovery was 82.1%, and the average (coefficient) of variation was (7.75%). The detection limit was 0.02 mg/kg.
