Clinical observation of simvastatin and fenofibrate in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with hyperlipemia

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the curative effect of simvastatin and fenofibrate in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with hyperlipemia.Methods:120 patients with type 2 diabetes with hyperlipemia were randomly divided into three groups,namely simvastatin group,fenofibrate group and simvastatin and fenofibrate group;their results were observed respectively after administration.Results:After treatment,the serum levels of TC,LDL-C and TG in each group all decreased,while the serum level of HDL-C increased.The ranges of decreased level of serum TC,LDL-C and TG and increased level of serum HDL-C in simvastatin and fenofibrate group were all higher compared with those in two drugs used alone.Conclusion:The curative effect of simvastatin combined with fenofibrate in type 2 diabetes with hyperlipemia is satisfactory.
