Acupuncture combined with acupoint injection in treatment of 30 cases with lumbar disc herniation

Objective To explore the treatment effect of acupuncture combined with acupoint injection in treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 52 cases with lumbar disc herniation were observed, and they were randomly divided into the treatment group with 30 cases and the control group with 22 cases. The treatment group was treated by acupuncture combined with acupoint injection and the control group was treated only by acupuncture therapy. Results After two courses of treatment, compared to the total treatment effect of the simple acupuncture therapy, the treatment effect of acupoint injection combined with acupuncture was much more prominent. Conclusion It is more effective to treat lumbar disc herniation with the method of acupuncture combined with acupoint injection of medicine than the simple acupuncture therapy.
