Self Designed Tongbi Decoction on 45 Cases of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with drugs in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Method:85 cases with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into treatment group (45 cases) and control group (40 cases). Treatment group was treated by the combination of acupuncture and drugs,while control group was simply given acupuncture. Both groups were accepted two courses of treatment. Result:Both groups have good effect. The effective rates were 93.33% in treatment group and 72.55% in control group. Conclusion:The combination of acupuncture and drugs have obvious effect in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,which is worth of application.
