Citizen Participation in Setting of China's Public Policy

The process of the citizens participating public policy is an important aspect of political participation and a new topic of public policy research.In China,the setting of public participation policy has been developed and the public can take part in policy setting in many ways.Now there exist some problems,such as defects of system and organization,and low level of participation in setting of public participation policy.Hence,we should promote institutionalization of public participation,develop public organization,expand participating channels,and take effective measures to increase the level of public participation.
