Application of Environmental Carrying Capacity in Environmental Impact Assessment in Planning

The analysis of environmental carrying capacity is one of the methods to environmental impact assessment in planning.The reasonable analysis not only shows the coordination level of regional economy,resources and environment,but also makes the estimate of impact caused by planning more scientific.Through establishing the index system of environmental carrying capacity and describing the development variable,constrain variable and their relationship based on the definition of environmental carrying capacity,the use intensity of environmental carrying capacity was studied,and the comprehensive index of environmental carrying capacity was presented,which is a quantization method of environmental carrying capacity.And they were applied to the environmental impact assessment in planning of international automobile city in Nansha,Guangzhou,and some suggestions were given for the planning.This method can reflect the influence of planning exactly,and provide scientific basis for regional coordinative development.
