Abstract
It is important to build an evaluation index system of water environmental carrying capacity. Based on the full comprehension of the index system connotations of city water environmental carrying capacity, this paper summarizes the study actuality and progress of the index system of city water environmental carrying capacity, and put forward the problems to be resolved in researching the index system of water environmental carrying capacity at present. Discussed further, improvement measures on constructing objectively scientific and reliable index systems provide references for systematic research on city water environmental carrying capacity under different periods and strategies.
