Citation analysis on Journal of Huanggang Normal University (Natural Science Edition) 1990~1999

Abstract

From 1990~1999,Journal of Huanggang Normal University (Natural Science Edition)had published 475 treatises which totally cite 2 850 items of references. We analyzed the citation items in 7 aspects-citation frequency (ratio of the treatises with citation to total treatises),citation type,citation distribution in decades,language variety,citation interval of years,citation freguency (ratio of the citation items in an interval to total citation items),etc.With the statistics result,we found some regularities and problems in editing and publishmg academic journals (Natural Science Edition) of normal universities and colleges.
