Citation Analysis of Eight Chinese Journals of Physical Education University for 2005

Abstract
According to the citation analysis method in literature metrology,the citations of papers in 8 Chinese Journals of Physical Education University were analyzed for 2005.The citation amount,type of citation,citation languages,citation years,the Price index,citation half-life and rate of self-citation had been calculated.The statistical results show that the average citation amount was 7.79,the citation rate of periodicals and books were 60.07% and 29.28% respectively,the citation rate of Chinese document and foreign document were 82.48% and 17.27% respectively,the Price index was 45.01%,the citation half-life was 5.51 years and rate of self-citation was 4.06%.
