Abstract
There has always been a dispute about the works of Dewey, especially about his protest against the purpose. The paper studies Dewey's having no purpose of education and points out Dewey's term meaning: there is no end in education; the term itself, has no purpose; there is no external purpose of education. As to his statement having purpose of education, it means that educational action has purpose and there exists purpose during process.
