Abstract

Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Aripiprazole and Sertraline treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder.Methods:36 cases with obsessive compulsive disorder were randomly divided into Aripiprazole(n=18) and Sertraline(n=18) group for 8 weeks. The efficacy and side effects were assessed with Yale-Brown Obsessive-compulsive Scale(Y-Bocs) and TESS respectively. Results: Both groups showed significant efficacy in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder(P0.01或P0.05) and the total efficacy was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05),the side effects of Aripiprazole were few and slight than Sertraline(P0.05).Conclusion:Aripiprazole is a very effective and safe antipsychotics in the treatment for obsessive compulsive disorder.
