GAO Gong's Strategy to Liao Dong——Discussing Centered on "Liao Zuo Great Victory" in Longqing Periods of Ming Dynasty

Abstract

GAO Gong,politician in Ming Dynastys,his strategy to Dong included two aspects.First,in the light of the sever situation caused by Nzhen and Tuman Nationality's attacks in the borderland,GAO Gong broke a rule to promote ZHANG Xueyan as an imperial inspector in Dong and made him guard the border with LI Chengliang,commander in chief.Second,in order to raise the army's ability of defence and fight,GAO Gong carried out the reform of military affairs in the border. These are two decisive factors,which GAO Gong gained Liao Zuo Great Victory. The politician and historians in the Ming,Qing periods and the modern time set a positive value on the thing.
