Abstract
At the turn of Jiajing time to Longqing time,Xu Jie promulgates Jiajing's Last Edict and Imperial Edict of Longqing Enthronement and starts to eliminate the indolent ruling and lots of evils in the late of 1560 left by Yan Song's autocratic,which is called Longqing New Deal.After Gao Gong comes back,he tries to exercise reform,re-evaluates Shizong,stops the wrong vindication.Gao Gong's measures create a good relationship between the monarch and his subjects,and a good political atmosphere,and find a fulcrum and basis for a further reform.
