Abstract

In the article, the contrast of the strong earthquake swarms between Jiashi in Xinjiang and Jazily in Uzbekistan has been studied. It is shown that the Jiashi strong earthquake swarm is similar to the Jazily's,not only in seismogenic period, but also in distributing form of energy release with time.Furthermore, the distribution of their aftershocks is conjugated. The migration of the major earthquake extends to multi-sides.The subdominant event in strong earthquake swarm sequence occurs with successive character to some extent.Mid-small earthquakes appear quiescence before the occurrence of the strong shock. In these strong swarms, the frequency and intensity of the aftershocks are weaker in the first group, stronger in the second group and strongest in the third group.
