Evaluation on curative effect of anti-tuberculosis and stasis-dissolving decoction combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis

Objective To evaluate the curative effect of anti-tuberculosis and stasis-dissolving decoction combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods 117 patients with tuberculosis were divided into two groups randomly. The control group( 39 cases) was treated with routine chemical drugs,and the observation group( 78 cases) was treated with Chinese medicine. Both groups were treated for 6 months. Results The improvement of the clinical symptoms was more pronounced in the observation group than in the control group.The sputum smear rate and the absorption rate of lung lesions were higher in the observation group than in the control group( P 0. 05 or 0. 01). The efficiency was significantly better in the observation group( 96. 6%) than in the control group( 82. 1%)( χ2= 6. 9,P 0. 05). Conclusion Anti-tuberculosis and stasis-dissolving decoction has positive effect on pulmonary tuberculosis patients by improving clinical symptoms,accelerating sputum culture negative conversion and reducing adverse reactions.
