Abstract
Objective To investigate the pathological and immunohistochemical features of gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GIST).Methods 67 cases of GIST were studied by routine stain and immunohistochemistry. Results 61.2% of the tumors originated in the small intestine. The neoplastic cells of GIST were spindle, epithelioid or both in different proportion, have a lesser degree of cytoplasmic eosinophilia. The immunophenotype of GIST was CD34+,CD117+.Conclusion GIST is with special immunophentype. The immunnohistochemistry is useful for differential diagnosis.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
