Abstract
Objective To study the germicidal efficacy and related disinfection properties of a compound trichloroisocyanuric acid disinfectant.Methods Suspension quantitative germicidal test and physicochemical examination method were used to carry out experimental observation.Results The available chlorine of the compound trichloroisocyanuric acid effervescent tablet was 49.47%(m/m) and decreased by 1.96% in average after storing at 54℃ for 14 days.The average killing logarithm values of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in suspension exposed to the solution of the compound trichloroisocyanuric acid containing available chlorine 380 mg/L for 5 min were above 5.00.Capacity test showed that the minimal eligible concentration of the disinfectant for killing E.coli was of available chlorine 500 mg/L.Spraying the solution of the disinfectant containing available chlorine 380 mg/L on the object surface to moisten for 10 min,the average killing logarithm values of the natural bacteria on the surface was above 1.00.Conclusions The compound trichloroisocyanuric acid effervescent tablet is stable.It has high killing effect on vegetative forms of bacteria in suspension and natural bacteria on the object surface.
