Study on the Expression and Correlation of p16 and p53 et al Proteins in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract

Objective To study the expression and correlation of p16,p53 and Ki-67 proteins in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods Expression of p16,p53 and Ki-67 proteins were detected in 45 cases of NSCLC by immunohistological technology (S-P).Results Of the 45 cases NSCLC,17 cases (37.78%) were positive for p16,25 cases (55.56%) for p53 and 34 cases for Ki-67 (75.56%).A significant relationship was found between the expression of p16,p53 and Ki-67.That is,the cases with low expression of p16 and high expression of p53 and Ki-67 were advanced cases and the rate of lymph node metastasis also increate.Conclusions p16,p53 and Ki-67 maybe factors associated to estimate the prognosis of NSCLC.
