Abstract
This paper deals with scientific research and the training of innovative talents in universities.The importance of scientific research and the cultivation of innovative talents along with their close relationship are discussed in the following three aspects:scientific research and the cultivation of innovative talents are the main components of universities' core competitiveness;scientific research not only is the essential condition for the cultivation and development of innovative talents,but also provides an important platform for the well training of innovative talents.Colleges and universities should pay much attention to scientific research and the cultivation of innovative talents,and make them develop in a balanced mannerto improve their core competence and comprehensive strength.
