Abstract
The beauty of the artistic conception is the soul of Chinese classical poetry. But traditional studies for translation of the Chinese classical poetry tended to summarize the experience and establish standards while ignoring the complexity and multidimensionality of translation which is preferred as an approach to cross-cultural communication and transmission. The descriptive translation theory focuses on the connection between text and local context and describes or criticizes translation text in special context, the different translation samples and original texts so that some norms are established.Based on descriptive translation theory, this paper discussed representation in beauty of artistic conception with the purpose of providing the multidimensional view and concluded that emotional rhythm of special people should be embodied in special cultural context to reproduce the beauty in translation of Chinese classical poetry and the artistic conception and subaudition of poetic language should be emphasized and created in communication while there existed a interdependence of language symbol and language style and artistic conception.
