Therapeutic effect of Gatifloxacin on urinary system infection

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of gatifloxacin on urinary system infection.Methods One hundred and fifteen patients with urinary system infection were randomized into two groups:treatment group (60 cases) took gatifloxacin tabs 0.4 g,once a day;control group (55 cases) took levofloxacin tabs 0.2 g,twice a day.The period of treatment was 7～14 d.Results The curative effect of treatment group was better than that of control group significantly,and in gatifloxacin group,the overall efficiency rate was 95%,the bacterial clearance rate was 93.3%.Conclusion Gatifloxacin is more valuable in the teatment of urinary system infection.
