Researches On Yao Sui's Literature Thoughts

Yoa Sui was a famous prose writer in the earlier Yuan ynasty. His literary thoughts were formed under the influence of traditional Confucian and NeoConfucian philosophies. For him the Confucian was the impetus to restoration, making him think much of articles' content and value and meanwhi lehold the ancients in esteem. So his articles are of thick color of returning to the ancients; Literatures is the greatness of his cognition and underlying characteristics, NeoConfucian precipitates that cognition and meanwhile restricts his literary production making him attach importance to thoughts and ideas, greatly admiringcorrectitude of dispositionandcorrectitude of pure temperamentand mean to redress the literary world with them. His thoughts was rather typical in the development of prose in Yuan Dynasty.
