Poetry Education Theory in Xiao Family's Thoughts on Literature

Abstract

The father Xiao Yan and his sons Xiao Tong,Xiao Gang and Xiao Yi were deeply affected by Confucian literary thoughts,especially the Confucian poetry education theory.It had become a distinctive feature of Four Xiaos' literary thoughts.Instead of promoting the thoughts in a direct way,they often showed the opposite side in public,by this way they demonstrated their Confucian literary thoughts.There are deep reasons for their thoughts and this paper tries to research into it.
