The Treatment Effect of Sparfloxacin on the Non-gonococcal Urethritis(Cervicitis)

Objective To study the treatment effect of sparfloxacin on the nongonococcal urethritis(cervicitis) Methods The 200 mg sparfloxacin was taken orally, 1 time/d, a course of treatment consisted of 10 days One or two weeks after the treatment the patients were examined again, the chlamydia trachomatic antigen of the urethra(cervix)secretion was measured and te ureaplasma urealyticum was cultured Results Fifty seven cases of 86 patients were clinic healing, 22 cases had the positive effect, the total effective rate was 91.9%; The clearance rate of the chlamydia trachomatis ad the ureaplasma urealyticum was 95.0% and 88.2% respectively, the total clearance rate of pathogens was 92.6% Conclusion Sparfloxacin were highly efficient for non gonococcal urethritis(cervicitis), this drug was easily taken by mouth and had less side effect, so it can be selected by the clinic doctors to treat the non gonococcal urethritis(cervicitis)
