Breeding and Utilization of New Type CMS line, Qianfeng 11A in Rice

Abstract

The main characters of new type CMS line, Qianfeng 11A(abbreviated: QF11A) was analyzed . The results showed: pollen sterility of this CMS line was 99.9%, plant high was 60cm, 1000 grain weight is 28g;Pillar out rate of it was 85.1%, higher than that of the check line. The hybrid combined with 11A showed higher seed setting rate and yield per plant than that of using Shanyou 63(CK).
