Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical value of inhalant allergen detection for diagnosing allergic diseases. Methods Using the German FOOKE IgE detection kit to determinate the inhalant allergen levels of 234 cases with allergic diseases diagnosed and treated at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from October 2011 to May 2012.Results In Jiangxi province, the most important inhalant allergens are house dust mites, dust mites and house dust(P0.05).In each age level, the allergens ranking top three positive rates are house dust mites, dust mites and house dust, respectively. In addition, there was significantly higher positive rate of inhalant allergen detection in the juvenile group than that in other groups. Conclusion Inhalant allergen detection is very important for the diagnosis of allergic diseases.
