Abstract

With the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale(FLCAS) and Embedded Figures Test(EFT) as measures,the present study investigates 454 college students in order to measure their Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety,and examines the relationship between foreign language anxiety and cognitive style.The study gets the following results:(1) Male students' foreign language anxiety level is significant higher than female's.No significant subject difference is found in students' foreign language anxiety.(2) Foreign language anxiety level of Field-independent students is significant higher than that of Field-dependent students'.(3) There is significant positive correlation between foreign language anxiety and cognitive style.
