Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of ultrafine herb moxibustion on the expression level of TGF-β1 and IL-17,by establish rat model with allergic rhinitis( AR). Methods: Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into two groups, control group and model group. The model group made up of rats with allergic rhinitis which were induced by intraperitoneal injection and aerosol inhalation of ovalbumin. After successfully modeled, these rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, model group( Group A),fluticasone propionate nasal spray group( Group B),crude herb moxibustion group( Group C)and ultrafine herb moxibustion group( Group D). The concentration of TGF-β1 and IL-17 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA) after ten days treatment. Results TGF-β1and IL-17 in A group was significantly decreased than that of the control group. Compared with A group,B group and C group,TGF-β1 in D group decreased significantly( P 0.05),and there was no significant difference between D group and control group( P =0.05). Compared with A group,TGF-β1 in B group and C group decreased significantly( P 0. 05),and there was no significant difference between B group and C group( P = 0. 993). Compared with A group,B group and C group,IL-17 in D group decreased significantly( P 0. 05),and there was no significant difference between D group and control group( P = 0. 903). IL-17 in B group and C group was significantly decreased than of A group( P 0. 05). Compared with C group,IL-17 in B group increased significantly( P = 0. 01). Conclusion: Ultrafine herb moxibustion can significantly decrease the expression level of TGF-β1 and IL-17. Treg cells which promotes Th17 differentiation and inhibits proinflammatory function,so that the whole elaborate and complex cells factor networks works well in the balanced and antagonistic immune function.
