The Method of Selecting the Centre Towns in Jiangsu Province Based on GIS

Abstract

The instauration of centretown is an important strategy to the development of towns in Jiangsu Province will also promote the economic of Jiangsu Province.But in the past the center towns were mostly selected by the economic level,so the distribution of the center towns was very imbalanced and some of them are close to each other.Of course the effections to promote the economic were very poor.This paper will put forward a project to choose 100 centre-towns based on GIS from the level of current economic and the specialties of center towns.
