Preventive Effects of Dezocine on Shivering in Hysterectomy Patients Under Combined spinal and Epidural Anaesthesia

Objective To investigate the preventive effects of Dezocine on shivering in hysterectomy patients under combined spinal and epidural anaesthesia.Methods In this prospective,randomized study,150 patients who received hysterectomy under combined spinal and epidural anaesthesia(CSEA) were randomly divided into three groups:control group,group D1(0.10 mg/kg) and group D2(0.15 mg/kg).Control group were received 3 mL Sodium Chloride through intravenous injection after the combined spinal and epidural anaesthesia.The degree and the incidence of shivering was observed after the CSEA,Ramsay sedation score and vital signs and the incidence of nausea and vomiting were recorded.Results There were no significant differences among three groups in MAP,HR and SPO2.The incidence of shivering in group C,D1 and D2 were 36%,14% and 8%,respectively,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).The number of patients whose ramsay sedation score over 3 points was different between D1 and D2 groups(20 vs 40,P0.05).The differences of the incidence for nausea and vomiting had no statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion The preventive effects of Dezocine on antishivering under combined spinal and epidural anaesthesia are obvious during total hysterectomy,the higher dose of dezocine has better effect on preventing shivering.
