Abstract

Based on sedimentary facies research, the diagenesis types of the Third and Fourth Member of Quantou Formation in Xinli Oilfield are studied and quantitatively evaluated by using core observation and the data of thin-section identification,X-diffraction,cathodeluminescence,scanning electron microscope, electronic probe spectrum and image analysis etc..Four types of diagenetic reservoir facies are determined. The unstable dissolved induced pore diagenetic facies is the most favorable for reserving oil and gas.
