Study on Diagenetic Reservoir Facies of Chang 8 Reservoir in Xifeng Oilfield

Abstract

Based on study of sedimentary fancies,core observation and the data of thin-section identification,X-ray diffraction,cathodoluminescence,SEM electronic probe spectrum,image analysis and organic matter maturity etc.were used for a systematical study of lithologic property,diagenesis,reservoir space and its evolution character,the space evolution were discussed,the diagenesis was quantitatively evaluated.Based on the study stated above,three types of diagenetic reservoir facies are determined,that is unstable dissolution induces pore diagenetic facies,moderate compacted weak-moderate cementation mixes pore diagenetic facies,strongly compacted moderate cementation relict induces intergranular diagenetic facies,in which the unstable dissolution induced pore diagenetic facies is the most favorable type for reserving.
