An Analysis on Structure and Competitiveness of Service Industry in Beijing Based on Dynamic Shift-Share Method

Beijing has entered the economy era,but with the general development of the national service sector,whether Beijing's service industry is always to maintain a competitive advantage,that’s a worthy subject of study.With the related dataof the service industry in Beijing between 2005 and 2010,this paper,using the service industry scale of nationwide as a reference,analyzed the dynamic development trends of each sub-sector’ s industrial mix effect and competitive effect of Beijing’ s service industry based on dynamic shift-share method that introduced time dimension.And the paper found out some deep-seated problem,such as the inner structure of Beijing’s service industry need to be optimized and the relative competitiveness advantage of Beijing’s service industry was weakening.Finally,the paper proposed some suggestions about how to develop the service industry further in Beijing.
