Research on Beijing Industry Chain and Industry Structural Adjustment

According to 1997 input-output sheet of 124 departments and 2002 input-output sheet of 130 departments in Beijing, this paper analyzes the intrinsic link of Beijing industry system and recognizes the key industry chain. On that basis, the orientation is decided for Beijing industry structural adjustment. This paper proposes that great importance should be attached to the development of machinery equipment industry, electronic information industry, automobile industry, pharmaceutical industry and scientific research, cultural educational industry in Beijing.
