Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of calcium hydroxide iodoform paste used in root canal treatment, provides the reference for the clinical treatment of late.Methods during the period of 01 to December 12, 2013 01 outpatient income to 80 elderly patients with root canal therapy as the object of study in our hospital in 2011, a total of 90 teeth, according to the different treatment modalities into study group and control group with 45 cases in each. Patients in study group were given the treatment agent of calcium hydroxide iodoform, control group was given the treatment of camphor phenol. Results the two groups after the treatment in teeth teeth treatment efficiency, severe pain, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion calcium hydroxide iodoform paste used in root canal disinfection elderly significant effect, short treatment time, relieve pain obviously, worth and application in late stage clinical.
