Abstract
The rooting ability of 1 year cuttings of Populus alba was studied under deferent treatment with rooting powder ABT No.6. The results showed that the cuttings soaked in the ABT solution with the concentration of 100 mg/kg for 6 hours could be attained best achievements,in which the rooting rate of cuttings from the bottom parts and middle parts reached to 91% respectively.
